PayPal is a valid payment method for individual use. i.e when Family Sharing is not set up.
Paypal cannot be used when using Family Sharing.
You've been able to use PayPal before because you were not using Family Sharing. Your daughter was using your own Apple ID to purchase things.
No that you are trying to set it up, you need a different payment method.
It's not a good idea to post images that contain your email address and postal address on a public forum, you may want to edit your post and remove it.
You are using Family Share, she is using her own account ?
I am so frustrated by this I don’t care who sees what. I have no idea what you all are talking about with family share. I have not changed anything that I know of in my plan since February and everything worked then but does not now. I only upgraded the os on my phone but nothing no else and you are all saying this never worked. I posted my receipt to prove my daughter was purchasing content through iTunes using PayPal. What has changed? I guess I need to go into an apple store and wait in line all day...
We don't know what has changed because you have not told us.
This thread was dealing with Paypal usage on Family Sharing. The service where you set up a Family Group, and are able to share purchases with your other family members.
How was your daughter purchasing content? Did she have her own Apple ID? Was she using yours?
Did you recently turn on something? Like the original poster, who set up Apple Music Family Plan?
You should care who can see your private information, unless of course you don't care about spam email, and phishing scams or other things that may start inundating your email inbox.
Beyond that, You need to try to explain what is happening. You can also setup an appointment at an Apple Store Genius bar so you don't have to be there all day. Maybe just 1 hour while they determine the issue.
This thread is about Family Share (i.e. Family Sharing - Apple Support) and PayPal. Not sure, if you don't know what Family Share is, how you can say that it's always worked.
Something changed because we used to be able to use PayPal!!!!
As far as I can see, going through previous versions of that link, PayPal has never been an option when setting up Family Share
