Why does my GarageBand for my 6S 2.3.2 feel like it’s missing features?

I’ve been looking for features in the manual like automated volume control and stuff like that in the header area and I don’t see it, is this version old or missing any features? Cause following the manual doesn’t seem to be working right

The Track Controls button is only on the iPhone 6Plus or 7Plus available, see this Help page;

On an iPhone 7 Plus or iPhone 6 Plus, the Track Controls button User uploaded fileopens the the Track Controlsfor the currently selected track.

On an iPhone 7 Plus or iPhone 6 Plus, the Song Settings button User uploaded filelets you view and edit song settings, including metronome, tempo and key settings. You can also open GarageBand Help.
