Why won't Siri give voice directions through my car's bluetooth? And yes, all my volumes are turned on.

Hi cpool222,

I understand that you've got your iPhone paired to your car stereo, but you're unable to hear turn-by-turn directions through your car stereo. I'm happy to provide some help for this issue.

I recommend using the Route Card as described below to make sure that you have your Navigation Voice settings configured correctly:

Use Maps and Bluetooth on your iPhone and iPad - Apple Support

Manage your Navigation Voice settings

When you use Maps on your iPhone or iPad that's connected to a Bluetooth accessory in your vehicle, you can access and manage your Navigation Voice settings. For example, you can turn your music down and hear Navigation Voice prompts through your stereo speakers and turn-by-turn directions on your iPhone or iPad. To manage these settings, follow these steps:

  1. Open Maps on your iPhone or iPad and enter your destination.
  2. After you tap User uploaded file to get directions, swipe up on the Route Card.
  3. Tap Audio.
  4. Tap the volume level that you want for Navigation Voice.

You can also control settings to pause the audio during navigation or control the audio output
from your iPhone or iPad. When audio plays, the audio output can only be managed from Control Center on your iPhone or iPad.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. Cheers!

Thanks, but that's not the problem. I had already done that and set it to normal volume, but still whenever I'm in my vehicle and tell it to give me directions, it shows the correct map on my phone but will not give me verbal directions. I would have to look at my phone's map every 5 seconds for turns, etc. and probably wreck my car. If you have any other suggestions, I appreciate it. Thanks
