superdrive system error -35

What is system error -35? I"ve tried cleaning the disc and it keeps returning.

I understand you are seeing error -35 while working with your SuperDrive connected to your MacBook Pro. What are you trying to do with the disc drive? What application are you working in?
In general, an error -35 on a Mac means there may be an issue with the file system on the internal hard drive. If you do not have a Time Machine backup of your computer, now is the time to do that:

Once you have backed up your important data, try running Disc Utility First Aid on your Mac:

Although it sounds like the issue is not specific to the SuperDrive, I'll include some general instructions for it below:
