Visit Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage to see a breakdown of how much storage is used for various purposes. For example, how much for Photos, how much for Backups, iBooks, Mail, Pages, Family Usage, et cetera. Most of those totals ("balances"?) can be tapped to see further details (like which iBooks or which backups are taking up storage).

Is that closer to what you meant by "balances"?

It is closer.

if I had an item I had already backed up to icloud, how can I Check icloud and see If the item is really in there?

I thought if if I signed into iCloud.com I would see everything, but it directs me to set up new acct or set up find my iPhone. It does not direct me to any details of the items or accounts in iCloud.

Again, you can't see the contents of an iCloud Backup. You can see your synced content.

You are trying to open iCloud.com, which is not optimized for a mobile browser.

All synced content has matching iOS apps to view, so you should not need icloud.com on an iOS device.

If you tell us exactly what you want to see, we can help more.
