Covers no longer displaying

i had to disconnect and reconnect my iBook from iCloud, but now it no longer shows covers for any books (downloaded or in the cloud). Any way to get those to display again? I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting from iCloud but no change.

iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 10.2

Self reply. Just contacted with Apple Support and they told me that it's done on purpose, since one of the latests update covers of books downloaded from the internet are not synced anymore. Seems like it's time to move to Kindle or any other third-party app until they enable it again.
