airplane mode on watch but NOT iPhone!

Got an error message on my watch tonight saying that I needed to turn the crown to eject water (don't know how water would have gotten in). After doing that, the watch wouldn't accept my password. Turned watch off and on, got in with my password. Now seeing airplane mode indicator at top of watch face. Checked to make sure iPhone not in airplane mode, but watch still seems to be. Can still access most apps. What gives?

Too many attempts on password Have tried to switch off watch no option to reset comes up just sos or switch off tried holding Digital Crown, on and off charger, no other options coming up. Tried via phone with watch on charger next to it again says something about airplane mode change on watch, which I can’t do!
