Why does it say subject in text message

when I go to send a new text it says SUBJECT

IMESSAGE

how do I fix this?

I understand that you are seeing a subject filed when writing text messages on your iPhone, and you'd like to disable this. I'm happy to provide some help for this issue.

To disable this, open Settings > Messages, and turn off "Show Subject Field".
