family sharing

My current situation is as follows:

My wife and I have different apple IDs and would like to do the family plan for apple music, we currently have separate subscriptions. If we do the family one, my wife probably will cancel hers. If we do that, would her playlists and downloads erase?

As far as Icloud storage, we both have upgraded them to 200GB, the same question goes for this one, if we do the family plan, is there a way where her data can transfer to the family one?

family sharing Hi when my partner got a phone, it was originally set up on the family apple id so he could access apps and itunes. After getting to much information shared such as contacts, it was set up with his own apple id but then still signed in on the family id for media and purchases. Now we want to purchase apple music. Would it be better to sign his device out of the family id and set up family sharing so he could access apps and music and keep everything set up or is it best to keep it as is? how do you share music or storage purchased with your apple ID with a family member that has their own apple id i have storage and apple music purchased under my apple id. i want to share with family members (wife and daughter) but they have their own apple id. can i share/they use my music/storage without having to log in using my id? thank you apple community

Sharing music in family, with different Apple ID’s, with family share plan. I have an individual Apple Music plan, and am thinking about upgrading to family plan. I have already had problems with cross-pollination of devices when I got new iPhones for myself and my wife. We now have different Apple ID’s, but I don’t want the problems that we recently experienced. How does the family plan work?
