Mac Photos

i have stored all of my pictures under the photo app on my mac. the other day i dropped my mac and might have broken the hard drive. is there anyway of transferring the photos into my new mac??

Saving photos to an external hard drive I have all of my photos on an old Mac laptop that I am now trading in with Apple. I wan to copy/save/move all of these photos to an external hard drive and just keep them there. I don't intend to transfer them to my new Mac but I want to be able to see them when I want to look at "old pictures." What is the be approach to taking these photos off of my old laptop and transferring them to the hard drive? Thanks for the help.

Transferring Photos library Hi, i just got the new Macbook air and i dont know how to transfer all my pictures from the Photos app from my Macbook pro 2013. I tried migrate assist and external hardrive but i am unable to transfer. Any other options? (besides icloud)

Transferring photos to new mac I got a new mac and am having trouble with transferring photos. They all transferred except for pictures taken in the last month. All photos are on icloud, including this last months, so I'm not sure why they won't show up on the new computer. Everything is linked - since all the other photos showed up.
