Have iPhone 6 Plus connected to Windows 10 PC. Was able to download photos using File Explorer till sometime back, now whenever I connect my iPhone to the PC, it shows up in Devices, but I get the error - 'You do not have permission to the device'

You should see a 'Trust this Computer' alert on your iOS device screen, do you? Unlock it and tap Trust. Then you should be seeing internal storage & be able to open DCIM folder and get your photos.

That does not help. Have seen the content, but my iPhone is recognized by the computer, just doesn’t allow to get photos
My iPhone is recognized when I connect it to the laptop. It's just that when I click on it under 'Devices' in 'My Computer', it gives me that error - 'You do not have permission to access the device'
Hi - i do not see that alert always.. also, till recent times,the phone was auto recognized when connecting to the same laptop.. has anything changed?
