Have you guys who use Google Calendar have if you use iCalendar to view your events your notes in the event are not easy to read because they are all in html code?

Yes and it's so bad, my company uses Google calendar on a regular basis. It doesn't look like Apple is concerned to update their calendar any time soon. My quick work around fix: download Google calendar app for MacBook and iPhone
Why do they have discussion boards were nobody gets an answer to the freaking question?

Not an answer, just an additional observation:
This started happening to me a few weeks ago after having worked fine before. My company uses google for it's email and I my problems started very recently.
I do not recall if they started after google rolled out an update or if it started after an update to Mac OS.
This isn't a bug - it is a feature of google calendar that the Apple [i]Calendar app doesn't support (yet) You can either learn to interpret the html code by sight (above it is trivial but other examples may be trickier) or use another calendar app e.g. fantastical, which does show html correctly, or view the google calendar via web.
