If you have full resolution photos downloaded, you shouldn't lose them. You can always sign back in and sync the photos back.

There may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. Messages conversations will be lost if they are addressed to the ID. See the article below for other places that the old ID should be removed. Also set up Family Sharing to keep access to your apps. Sign out of your Apple ID where - what specific place are signing out from? And how are your photos set up? Are you using iCloud Photo Library?

I have my pictures saved to my iCloud but I don’t plan on signing back into my current iCloud account. I’m going back to my older one. Will I lose all of my pictures?
