i went to be last night, closed all my open apps and stuck my phone under my pillow as always. the battery was roughly on 95%. When I woke up and grabbed my phone it’s really hot. My phone case is really hot and my battery is in 1%. Why has this happened when there were no apps open on the phone and what caused it to become so flat when not being used.

You must NEVER put your iPhone under the pillow that why it,s got so hot
It can cause a fire.
Also you can damage battery &iPhone

Hi, you can go to Settings --> Battery, wait few seconds until the usage list shows properly. Then you can check what was consuming your battery.
Just checked and it says 75% in the last 24 hours was used on camera. It possibly opened from the pillow being bumped during the night. Thanks
I’ve stuck my phone under my pillow the entire time I’ve ever had it. And this has never happened before. Also why would that cause the battery to go to 1% and now not charge as fast as usual?
