How to find help in transferring data and photos to a new iPad

When I go to the Apple Store to buy a new iPad, will someone there transfer all of the apps, data and photos to the new iPad? I'm particularly concerned about not losing the albums I've created for my photos. Should I just keep the old iPad for those albums and start new ones on the new iPad? Thank you!

Someone could help you, you’d just need to make an appointment. Or you can do it yourself. I’ve moved data to new devices before and while time consuming, it’s not that hard

Set up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

You basically back up your old one, then as you set up the new one, you will have a choice to set up as new or restore from backup. Choose to restore from backup and restore from the backup you just made and your new device will be a near clone of the old one.

The key is often to allow enough time. If you have a lot of data the set up process can take hours (data only moves so fast)

Also a side note, if this ipad is the only place you have those photos, you should look into backing them up somewhere else. It‘s never a good thing to have only one backup location.

Thank you. I pay for iCloud storage, so all of the photos should be there - somewhere. I just wondered if the albums would transfer as I currently have them organized or whether the photos would all go into Camera Roll and Photo Stream? Maybe I should save the albums into separate files on my desk top and then transfer them back to my new iPad once I get that....I use them when I paint - I have separate folders with reference photos for trees, mountains, water, skies, architecture, etc. I don't know if explaining how I use them will make a difference in the suggestions you (or others) have made. Thanks again.
