Pop up ads while using Facebook APP

is there an way while using the Facebook APP (not via the Safari Browser) to stop those intrusive pop up ads which say you’ve won something (usually Amazon or Walmart). The only way to get out of is click “OK”, and then exit out of the post you were reading.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately it does not fix the problem as I am not using Safari. I am using the Facebook APP.

If you have any other suggestions, would be interested in seeing them. These pop-ups are so intrusive and ruin the user experience.

This is becoming more and more of an issue with Facebook. I think it all has to do with the advertisers Facebook uses.

In cases like this, it may help to clear your website data by going to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.

If the issue persists, you can clear further data by going to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data. There you can choose to clear all the website data or, you can tap edit to remove specific sites that may be causing the issue.
