my phone started glitching and the touch screen only works periodically.

I paid full price for my iPhone 6 Plus some time ago and today (out of nowhere...no drops or missuse), my phone started glitching and the touch screen only works periodically. Please tell me that this is a repair that Apple offers to its loyal customers. It is clearly a defect in the design.
