Can I connect Bluetooth headphones and a Bluetooth watch to my iPhone at the same time?

I’ve been meaning to purchase a smart watch that connects to my phone via Bluetooth and I’m a regular user of Bluetooth headphones, so before I buy the watch, I wanted to know if I can connect both of these devices to my iPhone 8 at the same time.
