WHAT IS PROOF OF PURCHASE
I need 'proof of purchase' to get Apple to unlock my device.What is 'proof of purchase?Is the Amazon receipt enough?
iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.2, i tunes login
Does the receipt have the device's serial number on it ? If it does it should be ok (but only Apple can tell you for sure) - unless the device was sold to you used (Apple won't remove activation lock from previously owned devices)
