i used to duplicate my documents in numbers all the time by clicking the document and it would give me options including duplicate. It still gives me options when I click but not duplicate. Very frustrating

When the file is in the Finder, select the file then the menu item "File > Duplicate…"
When the file is open in Numbers, select the menu item "File > Duplicate…"

In Finder, you can also right click the document's icon, and chose Duplicate from the pop-up menu that opens.
