Gamecentre friends not deleting

I went to gamecentre and clicked remove all friends but when i go to Clash Of Clans i only have option to remove some of them not all of them. How do i get rid of friends i no longer want? They are specifically linked thru gamecentre i can see the gamecentre icon next to them.
