iPhone losing cell service randomly

I have an iPhone 7, and over the past couple of weeks, my cell service will just drop out. For example, this morning I had no cell service at home, just Wi-Fi. On my way to work, I restarted my phone, and my cell service was good for about 30 minutes, then back out. Repeated the process again with same result. I was looking at my phone using an app as it went from 4 bars to No Service. All software and carrier software looks up to date. I tried resetting network settings which didn't help. Should I do a factory reset? I was a bit hesitant as I've never done this, but if it will work I will.

Also, about 2 weeks ago my GPS started being very unreliable, both with the Apple Maps app and Google Maps app. It would have my location off by a little bit, pointed in the wrong direction, etc., so it wouldn't tell me to turn in time. I'm thinking that both are related, but wasn't sure if there was some known issue or something.

Thanks so much for the help!

Its not a hardware issue. Mine is doing the same thing. In the morning, after 730am ish I lose network connecting. Going thru all the resetting steps, yields no results. Come later on in the day, network is reestablished. This isn't a hardware issue. Hardware doesn't decide...hey...I am tired, going to not work in the morning.
