How do I make DRUMMER follow?

So if i tick 'follow' in DRUMMER, it will follow Apple Loops ok.

However, if I play a rough drumbeat myself and record it, then Drummer doesn't seem to follow it.

Even if I tick 'follow'.

Anything I am doing incorrectly?

First of all, are you talking about a Drummer Track? And what parameter "follow" are you talking about, because a Drummer Region (the yellow ones) doesn't have a Follow Parameter.

Only Audio Loops have the "Follow Tempo and Pitch" checkbox in the Region Inspector and other Audio Regions have the "Follow & Flex" parameter (but only if Flex is enabled on that Track.

Hope that helps
