what happen to screen recordings when they don't save?

So I was was using screen recording, but when I tapped stop recording, the notification for the video being saved didn't pop up. I tried screen recording to see if it was broken, but it worked/saved fine. (Probably due to the time of recording.) So I looked online for an answer, and it's because of the video size is too big, so it didn't save. I was wondering if there was a way to retrieve the video recording, or is it loss forever?

It's not saved because of either Storage Space or the file size issue.

So it's not possible to retrieve the file which was not saved.

Its better to make sure that you have enough storage before recording any long recording or try to make part by part and sync it by using Imovies or any third party apps.

If you you still facing the problem with small videos also, I would suggest you to Reset Iphone after backing up your files.

And also, sometimes when i was using the screen recording, it would sometimes just stop recording without notice, and the video isn't appearing in photos.
