anyone else having problems? iBooks outright refuses to download. I tried logging out of iTunes and back in. I tried restarting my iPhone, I tried turning it off and back on again. I tried resetting location and privacy settings, and it still tells me it "can't be downloaded" and to "try again later". 😟
i did that originally when a book i had purchased wouldn’t download...but i managed to get the app again. i had to go to a nearby place that has wifi and download it there, so i know now for certain, that it’s my connection.
i typically have to power cycle my modem in order to download updates, but i should’ve figured something was wrong, when after multiple power cycling, my phone would only update one app at a time.
i appreciate all the help guys. i’m just gonna wait until this purchase. goes through, before attempting to download said book again though.
I've not tried to download anything today, but I just purchased an iBook a couple of days ago and did not experience any problems. According to Apple's Status page, Apple - Support - System Status there is nothing wrong at this point.
Sounds like you need to replace that router and update your network.
Deleting and reinstalling the app might help.
