Retina display coating

I'm experiencing issues with my retina display coating wearing off on my macbook pro. It first started a year after I purchased it but I thought my screen was just dirty. A friend has recently brought to my attention that it's actually a fault with the retina display. My laptop works completely fine, it's just the screen coating is eating away. My warranty has expired. What should I do?

Consider taking your MacBook to an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Retail Store to determine which service and support options are available.
