The driver for the TEAC UD-301

The driver for the TEAC UD-301 does not work properly I have no control of the volume level. I used the drive that poped up in the Audio Devices area of my 2017 MacBook Air

It is very erratic as in the audio stops going to my speakers between songs and starts playing on my MacBook.

This is my first apple product... (not a happy camper).

I am willing to try going to a Musical Fidelity V-Link 192 USB to S/PDIF Converter.
