Tax free in France

Hello I am going to buy an ipad in France soon. Does anyone know if I can get tax free there (I am Ukrainian) and how big percent of taxes can I get back?

You may get a better answer on the French communities. Communautés d’assistance Apple - https://communities.apple.com/fr

In Europe tax rebates are only done at certain stores and I don't know if Apple is one of them. I can see no information about that with a web search so I am wondering if they do not. 20% appears to be the standard VAT rate in France (again, I find all this in web searches which you can do too).

There can be disadvantages to trying to go for cheaper rates in purchasing Apple devices outside your home country. Most notable is the lack of warranty support, and potentially even denial of even paid repair service:

Warranty restriction! - http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/products/ios-warranty-document-us.html - "IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE, iPAD AND APPLE TV SERVICE. Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device." <-- The warranty does not outright deny warranty coverage in other countries but there are many limitations to the effect they almost certainly will refuse to do repairs under warranty or even repairs at all except where you bought it. The phone would have to be sent to a friend in in the country of purchase to handle any repair claims because Apple will not handle international shipping.
