Hi, Tiago. Welcome to the Discussions.

No.
The Delete choice you mention — i.e. in Preview, Edit > Delete — applies to removing either annotations — ovals or notes — or bookmarks one has added to a PDF in Preview. Open Preview Help (in Preview, select Help > Preview Help) and search its help for
delete for the details concerning the Delete choice you cited.
The image browser function of the shareware application
GraphicConverter permits one to trash the image one is currently viewing. GraphicConverter is well worth its modest shareware price.
In Finder, you can move files to the Trash without dragging them to the Trash icon in the Dock by selecting the files you want to trash and either:
• Pressing Command-Delete.
• Control-clicking and selecting "Move to Trash" from the resulting context menu.
• Clicking the Delete tool in Finder's toolbar. To add the Delete tool to Finder's toolbar, see
"Mac OS X 10.4 Help: Customizing the toolbar in Finder windows."
Any of these methods moves the selected files to the Trash.
Good luck!
