Why everytime I try to download a app on the App Store it says I have to check my billing address it’s really puting a limit on what I can do please contact me I need help I have apps and sof I need to update

iPhone 7, iOS 11.2.6

See Change or remove your Apple ID payment information - Apple Support. If you supply the correct information for your existing payment method, or replace it, or remove it, then that should sort things out.

What is the message/prompt that you are getting, is it referring to your billing address or the payment details on the account ?
