Missing pictures after update from El Capitan to High Sierra
As the title says, after update the OS from El Capitan to OSX High Sierra, almost 5000 pictures disappeared from my old Pictures folder , now a new icon appear 'Photos Library' which has inside like 1000 random whatsapp pictures from my old Iphone 4. Im very very dissapointed with this, I don't have any time machine active and any backup anywhere. All those years I kept my windows desktop pc always secure with lot of backup copies thinking the windows pc was really insecure, in the other hand I never did that on the mac, my windows computer survive 3 major updates form windows 7 to 8.1 to windows 10, and my personal data today is still intact on those olds HDD!!! Today I trusted this two thousand dolar piece of aluminium, I really take care of it, but the threat came from INSIDE the OS deleted my personal information in a software update!!!
I can't believe this, im frustrated, that pictures are important to me.
does anyone of you had experienced the same???
repair the Photos library did not work...
do you have any idea about what the **** is going on with those bad quality updates?
Im start thinking that apple today is not even the shadow of the old apple company 6 years ago
