I've had my MacBook Pro for almost a year now (I got the 17" one right when they came out), and when I first got it, I was having quite a hard time pairing a bluetooth headset with the notebook to use with Ventrilo (well, I couldn't get it to work with anything, but that's besides the point).
Now I see all these threads of people being able to pair fine, with no issues. Will an H700 work? Were there any updates to fix the previous problems with it?
Yeah, I can pair it fine, but when I start up Ventrilo, it says there's an error with the bluetooth audio, I must restart the program, and it just does the same thing all over again.
I have a Motorola H700 that I "paired" with my Wife's MacBook C2D. The "pairing" process was no problem however, when I attempt to use it with Skype I constantly get a "communication error". I deleted the device, "repaired" the device and continue to receive the message.
For now we are using a Logictech USB headset that works with no problems?
I have an H500 headset and have run into the same issue with this one, and previous HS850 I believe it was. The trick is that after Skype starts up, you should wait about 1 min, dial your #, and then should hear a little tone after it's dialing. It's unstable so I know what you mean. I am currently using a Logitech 350 USB headset as well. It's really nice and clear.
