hello,
i made an iMovie project on my mac and then i disconnected and unplugged the mac to move it and since then i can no longer find that particular iMovie. i have looked on finder and still can't find it.
it would be great if anyone can tell em what to do

You didn't mention what version of iMovie you are using. Assuming that you are using iMovie 10, try opening iMovie while holding down the Option and Command keys and then selecting to delete preferences in the box that appears. Sometimes that cures glitches.
You also can try looking in the iMovie backups folder. To get there follow this file path from the Finder menu: Go/Home/Library/Containers/com.apple.iMovieApp/Data/Library/Caches/iMovie Backups. When you get there you will see a list of backed up iMovie libraries. Click on one that has a date just prior to when you lost your project. iMovie will open in the backed-up library, and you can then check in the Projects browser screen to see if your project is there.

To find out your iMovie version, open iMovie and in the iMovie menu click on iMovie/About iMovie.
Re the file path to the backups folder, instead of Go/Home/Library, etc, try Go/Library, etc.

Yeah sorry I have no idea what imovie I am using. the first option that you suggested didnt bring it back. i dont understand why all my other projects and movies in theater are still here but that one is not
i followed your instructions for the second part but i couldnt find a section called library.
