Phishing emails supposedly from Apple
Im getting at least 10 a week and I report all to Apple via “abuse@
Apple. Com...I never get an answer even acknowledging receipt. Am I wasting my time?

Phishing - and all other scams - are related to your email address or phone number being known or easily guessed by the criminals.
If the content appears to be from Apple, it is because Apple has a HUGE user base and thus is a "good bet" for the nefarious characters that ANY email address has an Apple ID
The only way to stop phishing - appearing to be from Apple or anyone else - is to have a brand new email address that has a username as secure as a strong password -- and THEN not using it for anything else but logins (no emails to family, friends or colleagues)
Thanks for get back. I report all phishing to banks, PayPal, and others and always
get answers even though they are auto generated. Apples failure makes me feel unappreciated.
Apple tends not to acknowledge feedback but I am pretty sure they do take note.
