Screens comes back slightly dimmed when unlocking

Hi there,

My new MacBook Pro does something I have not ever see across the Macs I have owned in the past.

For example, I set the display to full brightness. I then go away from the computer either locking it myself or let it lock after the time out.

When I come back and unlock the computer the screen has automatically adjusted the brightness below the full setting. Annoyingly I have to readjust the brightness to full again.

Any way to turn this "feature"off?

Hello,

Have you checked your Energy Saver preferences in System Preferences? If you go to the Battery tab, there's an option to slightly dim the display while on battery power. Deselecting this option should resolve the issue.
