Mac OS X server serial number Help

I have an install usb for mac os x server 10.4.9 but I don't have the serial number for it. I looked online for serial number generators but none of the work, the example the computer gives me is:

a-111-bbb-222-ccc-333-ddd-444-eee-555-f in the input text box it does not allow me to type letters where numbers are or numbers where letters are. Can someone give me a serial number that works. I am using a powermac G5.

For updates to Mac Server (early Intel or PPC) you first need Full Server install on DVD.

The last Mac server updates for Server online are only 'Update combo' for Mac Server.

{..there are PPC (& early Intel) updates only as legit downloads from Apple support..}

You'd need a retail Server on original DVD media ~ with ability to install more than once.

Any downloads off the internet won't be legitimate nor would they take the last update.

Since you have a G5 PowerMac, and your tagline says you need the Server version of OS X for 10.4, you can get legal copies on eBay.

10.4 OS X Server

Or, with a G5, you can also run Leopard, 10.5.x

10.5 OS X Server

I have no idea what the person in the second ad that appears thinks they're selling. It says OS X Server, 10.5, but shows photos of an old, beat up cell phone.
