Hello David2118,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding your iPhone 6 Plus has become unresponsive while using Quick Start to to transfer content to your iPhone X. I know it's very important to have all of your data and settings on a new device. I'm happy to help.

First, I recommend trying force restart your iPhone 6 Plus. Press and hold both the Home and the Side buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo. If the iPhone remains unresponsive, follow the remaining steps in the link below:

If you iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen

If you're still unable to use Quick Start, you can restore manually from an iTunes or iCloud backup. The only difference here is the process being used to transfer your information and the type of backup. Please take a look at the links below for information on what is stored in a backup and steps on how to get your new iPhone set up:

About backups for iOS devices

Transfer content from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Let us know the results. Please include specific error messages and any other troubleshooting steps you may have tried.

Have a great day!
