I just noticed a tiny chip in th corner of my Apple Watch series 3. It’s 3 months old and I haven’t dropped it or knocked it. Has anyone had that? I don’t have Apple care, meant to get it and forgot and now I’m 10 days too late!
It’s hardly noticeable really but I’m really upset about it. What if it affects water proof ness or what if it gets bigger? Advice?
Might be an idea to look into getting some epoxy filler to smooth that out. Takes a steady hand, but something to think about.
Yeah that makes sense. Just disappointing for something that expensive. If I go in store they won’t be able to do anything for me, right? I mean the watch is working fine and looks fine too. I just want to avoid further dama
That chip appears to be impact damage. Something as simple as making contact with a corner of your desk or car door can cause damage.
As the Watch is already damaged, you would not be eligible for damage insurance, anyway, so the ten days is not really an issue.
