I’ve been trying to download the Kik app for a while now. Every time I open it up on App Store, I’m able to view the details and all that, but I can’t download it. The ‘GET’ button is slightly desaturated, and I have no idea whether this is just because of Restrictions or whatever. If it is, I’d really like to know, because I’ve tried almost everything and still have no idea what the problem is...
Again, have you tried and download a different app from AppStore? Does it work?
Check also Settings>General>Restrictions>... App install, App delete and In-App Purchase... should be green (allowed).
If the issue still persists, I would contact iTunes Store Support directly, explaining your problem. Use this form:

Are you connected to a reliable (and possibly fast) wifi network?
You can't download apps bigger than 150MB using cellular data-

Are you connected and able to browse any internet website?
That's weird.
What about Kik app? did you already have it, deleted it, and now trying to download it again?
What happens if you try to download a different app?

I’ve never had any problems downloading apps before, and no, I’ve never had Kik previously. There are a select few websites that I can’t access due to restrictions, but the Kik site isn’t one of them.
Normally I don’t have any trouble downloading apps. Kik seems to be the first and only one that doesn’t download for me.

Yes, I am connected. I’ve checked WiFi multiple times and it’s working the way it should. I have enough free storage, and my phone is up-to-date.
