Missed call badge icon won’t go away! Why?

When I have a missed call the little red #1 pops up on the phone icon. After I look at it, it stays. I open the missed call info, look at all missed calls and it remains! It seems the only way to make it go away is to delete the missed call. It doesn’t happen all the time, which confuses me. Sometimes it goes away, sometimes it doesn’t.

Missed call notification badge icon won’t go away from (recent call) iPhone X I am recreating this questions SINCE APPLE has NOT answered us... I have always experience such problem when the missed call badge icon won’t go away from my recent call. It will only disappear until I have to make a call or wait for an incoming call. After I made a hard reset of the phone it will resolve the problem but after sometimes it happen again. Can any help me to resolve this problem??? AND PLEASE - If you want to reply with RESTART, please see your way OUT of this conversation. WE REQUIRE a FIX that will last. Regards,

It should go away after opening recent calls history (without deleting the missed call(s)).

Have you already tried a forced restart of your device?

Hi there,

Well try going to contacts after checking who called you then go back to missed calls.the red mark Should be gone now.

And the number who called you last should be on top of your list of missed calls.

Hello, after I look at the missed call it still shows. I have tried to restart my phone and sometimes it works, but not always.
