What is a pending purchase

My in app purchase has been 'pending' for 12+ hours according to itunes. I have confirmed payment security code on my credit card associated with my account. My credit card shows pending payment for approximately 1/2 of the amount. My son is impatiently waiting, even if I told him this is a waste of his hard earned money. Can I cancel this transaction and try again?

If your payment method is declined, or you have a billing issue with a previous purchase in the iTunes Store - https://support.apple.com/HT203005 - various reasons why payment method is declined.


Report a Problem - http://reportaproblem.apple.com - "Sign In for help with iTunes purchases made in the last 90 days"
