My iPad doesn’t show Android texts

My iPad doesn’t show any texts from Android users. It also doesn’t show any response texts from me to anyone whether they’re an iPhone or Android user.

I’ve followed every tip and know that all my settings are correct.

Both my phone and iPad use the same account settings.

Text message forwarding shows the iPad in my iPhone.

Both devices show all the appropriate Send & Recieve numbers.

Send as SMS is on.

I’ve reset my phone and iPad twice.

Both have the latest operating systems.

My phone is a 6s and my ipad was bought new in 2017.

If anyone can solve this, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks so much,

D.

What I would do is sign out of iMessage on both devices and turn off Text message forwarding on your phone. Restart both devices. Maybe even reset your network settings (Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings). Then, sign back into iMessage on the iPhone. Wait until it's completely activated. Then, sign back in on the iPad. Once iMessage is active on the iPad, turn Text Message Forwarding back on on the iPhone.
