How can I remove my card info from my phone?

Currently I am having trouble downloading apps, I just got a new phone today and the AppStore won’t let me download any apps. It says “Verification Required check billing info” something a long those lines. I set up my brothers account and he can download apps with no problem. I want to take off my card so I will have my payment method as none. On Apple Pay it says all my cards old info and maybe that’s why I can’t download any apps. I’m very confused on why I can’t download apps.
