Setting up new Apple ID

Hi I set up my mothers phone using an old email address I had but that email doesn't seem to be working anymore and I have forgotten the password to log into her iCloud. Is there anyway of changing the email to her one or would I have to reset the phone?

forgotten email and apple id password I gave my old Ipad to my mom. Unfortunately, she can't remember the password she created for her Apple ID. To make things worse, she also doesn't remember her password on the email she used to create the Apple ID. She also have changed her mobile number, so there's really no way for her to check her email to recover everything. Please help. Thanks!

No access to old Apple ID email I have an old iPad that I want to give to my granddaughters. The old iPad is registered with an old email address that I no longer use. I cannot remember the login information to unlock the old iPad. How can I unlock the old iPad? I have a new iPad that I use now. [Edited by Moderator]

I would recommend that you first try to recover the password as described in If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

and then if you want to change the email that she uses as her Apple ID, see: Change your Apple ID - Apple Support

You cannot simply reset the phone as it is activation locked to the Apple ID that she is currently using. See: Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support
