Messages in iCloud currently disabled. Repair account

Is this supposed to be a fix for all iPhones? I have a 6s and this didn't work for me, all that happened was that the volume went up and down.

I am having the same issue. Restarting does not seem to help.

I have iPhone 6s Plus so it’s op the sides as shown in this pic I uploaded

I can’t turn it off....it just says on and it’s not “highlighted” to turn it off....any suggestions ?

Forgot to say this all must be done from the locked screen otherwise it will not work
