iTunes, Audiobooks splits chapters and duplicated each.

Since the last update to V10.13.4 iTunes Audiobooks has change radically. (iMac/iTunes with the latest update)

All of the books have been broken up into individual tracks, i.e. each chapter or track is now a separate item and has also been duplicated. For example; if there are 20 chapters, they are split up into individual tracks and again multiply each track by 20. I’ve tried reseting ‘View options’ but nothing corrects it.

Something is very wrong, has anyone got any ideas? I wondering if I have an update that is corrupted?

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.6), Adobe CS6 & Canon MG7750

The terrible workaround that locks you into a solution you probably don't want is to press [Command]+[J] to open the view settings and choose the following:

View As: Grid

Sort by: Author

then: year

This isn't helpful if you want anything other than that specific view, which obviously you do or else you wouldn't be having this problem. I merely post it here in case anyone else who has this problem doesn't mind.
