Canon MP990

After updating to macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 my Canon 990 is not anymore compatible.

Can this be solved?

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012), macOS High Sierra (10.13.4)

From the Canon website, PIXMA MP990 - Support - Download drivers, software and manuals - Canon UK

you can see that your printer is not supported in High Sierra, and has not been supported since Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks (20113). What OS did you upgrade from to get to High Sierra.

You could try Vuescan which you have to pay for, https://www.hamrick.com/ but does have a free trial.
