Canon MP990
After updating to macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 my Canon 990 is not anymore compatible.
Can this be solved?

I don’t know what happened, but after rebooting yesterday my canon mp990 is working again
Same as it also worked with all previous updates after Mavericks... I’m happy again, thanks for your efforts to helping me.

From the Canon website, PIXMA MP990 - Support - Download drivers, software and manuals - Canon UK
you can see that your printer is not supported in High Sierra, and has not been supported since Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks (20113). What OS did you upgrade from to get to High Sierra.
You could try Vuescan which you have to pay for, https://www.hamrick.com/ but does have a free trial.
maybe canon will release a new driver which works with their printer under high sierra ? have you checked their site?
Well that is good news, long may it continue.
Thanks.
