Paragon NTFS will not allow the BC/Windows partition to be available in the Startup Disks. Apple disallows any third-party drivers from controlling the partition, if it needs to appear in the selection list.

Aha! Then here's the real problem: BootCamp does not appear in the Startup Disk list in System Preferences. The only disk listed is the Mac OS Disk. I can start Windows only with the Option Key method. Got any ideas?
I just opened Paragon saw that the Bootcamp disc is hibernated. I have brought it out of hibernation twice, but that doesn't seem to last long. In addition, I see that Paragon will set the Bootcamp disc as the startup disc. Now my question is "How do I keep that disc from hibernating?" (I have despised Microsoft since I first had to write a data recovery program for a PC in 1981. As a result, I avoid using Microsoft OS's whenever possible and know very little about them.)

Are you using any third-party NTFS drivers?
I am using Paragon to read NTFS. Does that cause a problem?
Thanks for the info. I'll get rid of Paragon.
