Computer to Computer Connection Failure

I have a 21.5" (Mid 2010) iMac and a 27.5" (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) iMac. I can connect to the 27.5" iMac from the 21.5" iMac as a Registered User, but when I try to connect to the 21.5" Mac from the 27.5" iMac the connection fails. Both machines are running Sierra 10.12.6 and both machines have file sharing enabled.

Network computers unable to connect to new High Sierra computer I have three computers connected to a network via a AirPort Extreme. They have been able to connect and share files between each other with no problems. Since I have upgraded one of the computers to High Sierra the two old computers can't make a connection to it. Yet the H S computer can make connections to the two old computers. The two old computers can see the H S computer, but can't make connection to it. connecting iMac to macbook failes I have a MacBook Pro (mid 2010) and an iMac (27inch late 2013) both running High Sierra 10.13.6. After recently upgrading to High Sierra I can no longer connect my iMac to my Macbook.Here's whats still working:Accessing screen share from my iMac (i.e. I can access my macBooks Screen from my iMac)Accessing screen share from my MacBook Pro (i.e. I can access my iMac Screen from my Macbook)Connecting to my iMac from my MacBook Pro and accessing all the files on my iMac from my MacBook Pro (i.e. I can establish a connection to my iMac from my MacBookPro.)However the opposite is not working: Whenever I try to access my MacBook Pro from my iMac by double-clicking the MacBook-Icon in the sidebar of the finder window and entering the Password for my Macbook as prompted I get the message "connection failed" (Verbindung fehlgeschlagen", my system runs in German)Both computers have file sharing enabled in systems preferences. And Connecting & sharing files worked fine for the last 5 Years. Any help is appreciated.

This is likely due to changes in File Sharing that are not supported by the older machine when trying to access it. Or, you may have File Sharing enabled but have not designated a shared folder. If you select the Desktop icon for the older computer's disk then press Command-I to open the Get Info window and check the Shared Folder box.
