Can the unlock iPhone 8 Plus bought in USA be used in Malaysia ?

If its unlocked yes. It can work with carriers there.

Though note that the Warranty will only be valid in the U.S. and Apple Stores or Service Providers in Malaysia may deny service repairs for it.
